Amina serves as Program Coordinator for the TRIO Educational Talent Search Program at the University of Georgia, working with students in Warren and Elbert Counties who are in 6th–12th grade. She provides support in career exploration, academic and financial guidance, and college readiness to help prepare them for admission to and success in higher education.

Having been involved in TRIO programs throughout her own academic journey, Amina understands firsthand the impact of access, mentorship, and opportunity. Her passion for educational equity is deeply personal, and she is committed to helping students overcome barriers similar to those she once navigated herself. She strives to create supportive spaces where students feel empowered, capable, and confident in pursuing their goals.
