Garren serves as the Program Coordinator for Scholars and First-Generation Initiatives. In this role, he oversees programming for third- and fourth-year Georgia Commitment Scholars (GCS), co-advises the GCS Executive Board, and supports initiatives for first-generation college students and Cousins Scholars. He is deeply committed to the academic and personal development of scholar cohorts, with student engagement and success holding a special place in his heart.

Outside of work, Garren is active in several civic, religious, and social organizations. He enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with his family and fraternity brothers, and playing the piano.
