Dr. Cara Winston Simmons

Director

Dr. Cara Winston Simmons is director of the Office for Student Success and Achievement (OSSA). Simmons has a documented history of student-centered efforts and innovative programming at UGA. She has served in numerous capacities on and off campus with a focus on academic well-being, student learning, community building, and leadership development. Simmons is also staff director to Bulldog Basics, a campus-wide initiative that provides free toiletry and personal care items to students via an eStore. Simmons serves as a courtesy faculty member in the College of Family and Consumer Sciences and is also part of the graduate program faculty in the Mary Frances Early College of Education.
