Bria Carr
Program Manager
Bria Carr, M.Ed., serves as the Program Manager for UGA’s Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math-Science programs. She is a higher education leader with more than a decade of experience in college access, student success, educational equity, and program management. Throughout her career, Bria has led federally-funded TRIO programs, directed large-scale educational initiatives, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to create meaningful opportunities for students to achieve their academic, personal, and professional goals. She is deeply committed to expanding access to higher education and empowering first-generation, low-income, and historically underserved students to recognize their potential and thrive.
Bria believes that every student deserves an advocate who will challenge them, support them, and celebrate their success. She is passionate about building genuine relationships with scholars and creating environments where they feel seen, valued, and inspired to pursue their dreams.
