DESCRIPTION:The Office for Student Success and Achievement (OSSA) is pleased to invite full time faculty and staff in student facing positions to participate in Foundational Academic Coaching Training during the Fall 2025 semester. \nFoundational Academic Coaching Training provides valuable knowledge\, skills\, and frameworks which are highly transferrable to academic advising\, particularly in developing approaches to challenging conversations with students. It also presents an opportunity to build relationships with campus partners while increasing working knowledge of campus resources. Completing Foundational Academic Coaching Training is the first step in serving as an Affiliate Academic Coach. However\, serving as an Affiliate Academic Coach is not required after completing the training. \nFoundational Academic Coaching Training will take place in-person and lasts three days\, from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM with a break for lunch. Registration is required.

SUMMARY:September Foundational Academic Coaching Training
DESCRIPTION:The Office for Student Success and Achievement (OSSA) is pleased to invite full time faculty and staff in student facing positions to participate in Foundational Academic Coaching Training during the Fall 2025 semester. \nFoundational Academic Coaching Training provides valuable knowledge\, skills\, and frameworks which are highly transferrable to academic advising\, particularly in developing approaches to challenging conversations with students. It also presents an opportunity to build relationships with campus partners while increasing working knowledge of campus resources. Completing Foundational Academic Coaching Training is the first step in serving as an Affiliate Academic Coach. However\, serving as an Affiliate Academic Coach is not required after completing the training. \nFoundational Academic Coaching Training will take place in-person and lasts three days\, from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM with a break for lunch. Registration is required.
